1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are widely used to make
websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to site owners. Some are
essential; others are not and require your consent.

2. Cookies we use

Strictly necessary

These are required for the Site and our shop to function. They cannot be switched off.

Cookie	Purpose	Duration
woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart	Remembers what is in your basket	Session
wp_woocommerce_session_*	Identifies your basket and order session	2 days
wordpress_test_cookie	Checks that your browser accepts cookies	Session
wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*	Keeps you signed in to your account	Session / 14 days
wordpress_no_cache	Ensures logged-in users and shoppers are not served a cached page (which could otherwise show another customer’s details)	Session

Analytics

These help us understand which pages are useful. They are only set with your consent.

Cookie	Purpose	Duration
_ga, _ga_*	Google Analytics 4 — distinguishes users and sessions so we can measure traffic and content performance	Up to 2 years

Affiliate and third-party

When you click an affiliate link to a booking partner (for example Expedia, Viator or Stay22),
that partner may set its own cookies so that a resulting booking is attributed to us. Those
cookies are set by the partner, not by us, and are governed by the partner’s own cookie and
privacy policies. We recommend reviewing them if you use those links.

3. Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may
stop parts of the Site — particularly the shop and your account — from working.

• Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
• Safari: Settings → Privacy
• Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
• Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google’s
opt-out browser add-on.

4. Consent

We ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookie. You can change or withdraw
your choice at any time.

Essential cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a working,
secure shop, and do not require consent.

Privacy Policy.
